MARISSA MARSH

CO-DIRECTOR

Marissa Marsh is a junior at Central York High School and is co-director of The Current, Central’s student-run public relations group. She is also a member of National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, is the Editor-In-Chief of The Prowler Online Publication, is involved in Aevidum, and is participating in this year’s CYPA musical, Beauty and the Beast. Outside of school, Marissa has been dancing at Greater York Dance for 14 years, and has studied ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, contemporary, and musical theater since she was three years old. Marissa loves Disney World and has performed at the park twice during her dance career so far, both of which are some of her favorite memories. She loves writing and plans to pursue a career in the communications field.

GRACE SEEBOLD

Grace Seebold is co-director of The Current, heading the student-run public relations group. As a junior at Central York High School, Grace fulfills the positions of News and Copy Editor for The Prowler and On The Prowl, both student-run school publications. With a passion for journalism, she hopes to pursue a career in the field. Grace is a lover of overalls, organization, her dog Maxwell Eugene, and poetry. Recently becoming fond of yoga, she largely advocates the importance of taking care of yourself.

MORGAN BATTS

SOCIAL TEAM CO-DIRECTOR 

THE CURRENT

Morgan Batts is a senior at Central York High School, and is the co-director of the social team of The Current. She is a member of the Thespian Troupe at her high school, a performer in both CYHS Improv and CYHS Performing Arts Drama Department, and lacrosse player. Morgan has been involved in many different clubs throughout her Central York High School career such as Aevidum, SADD Club, and Library Council. Morgan hopes to move on and become a performer. She wants to inspire and touch others with her music and vibrant personality. If she does not become a performer, Morgan hopes to work in the Public Relations field so she can still work with performers and artists while being immersed in the entertainment industry.

TAYLOR BEAVERSON

THE CURRENT

Taylor is the production team co-director of The Current. Outside of The Current, Taylor has also worked in CTV. He has been in the videography & photography field for four years, producing products such as short films, promotional videos, documentaries, and photoshoots. Taylor enjoys videography and photography because it provides the creative freedom that can be interpreted in abounding amounts of ways.

 

 

STEFANIE CRAVENS

Stefanie Cravens is a junior at Central York High School and communications team director of The Current. Aside from The Current, Stefanie is a peer tutor, the Positive Promoters assistant team leader for Aevidum, a Panther Perk volunteer, the committee head of community relations of National English Honor Society, a member of the National Honor Society, as well as National Math, Science, German, and Art Honor Societies. Stefanie loves to relax; whether she’s journaling, taking a bath, going for a walk, doing a facial, or going to yoga, she always makes time for relaxation. Stefanie also enjoys organizing, playing lacrosse, and cooking. Stefanie plans on majoring in biology and going onto medical school to pursue a career as a dermatologist. She plans on traveling in order to experience all of the different cultures that the world has to offer and starting a family.

MOLLY REINHARD

Molly Reinhard is the co-director of the social team for The Current. She is a junior at Central York High School and is involved in the school’s newspaper, The Prowler. Along with participating in The Current and The Prowler, Molly is also a member of the Mini-THON committee. Molly performs in CYPA productions as well, keeping busy singing and dancing after school. She enjoys writing, reading, going to concerts, traveling, visiting art museums, and listening to music in her free time. Molly sees college in her future and hopes to major in communications.

DELANEY BOYLAN

Delaney Boylan is on the social team for The Current. She is a junior at Central York High School and has a younger brother who is a freshman. Throughout the school, she is involved in the Epilepsy Awareness Club, Aevidum, and the softball team. She has one county championship with the softball team and is looking to accomplish another this spring. Her goals include going to a good college, starting a family and being happy. She currently works at Panera Bread. In her free time she likes taking long drives and listening to music. She loves her dog, Lana, and spending time with her family. One day she hopes to help the environment, even in the smallest aspect. Delaney loves science and wants to pursue a career in the Pharmaceutical world. She wants to improve her communication skills so the communications team is the perfect fit for her. She is looking forward to her last year at CYHS.

ALYSSA MAUCK

COMMUNICATIONS TEAM

Alyssa Mauck is a junior at CYHS and is part of the communications team of The Current. She also is a part of Mini-THON and Epilepsy Awareness Club. Alyssa keeps busy juggling between school, work, and spending time with friends and family. In the free time she does have, she likes shopping, watching her favorite shows on Netflix, and taking a good nap. One day, Alyssa hopes to go to college to pursue a career with children. Although she is unsure where she wants to go and what she wants to do, Alyssa knows she wants to go far in life and have a small family.

Paris Cary is a junior at Central York High School. She goes from school to a part time job. Paris has been attending Central York School District since kindergarten. She joined The Current because she was interested in marketing and learning more about the communications field. Paris lives with her two brothers and one sister. Besides school and her part time job, Paris likes to listen to music, be active, and spend time with her family. After high school, Paris wants to go to college for law enforcement and get her degree in criminal justice to become a police officer.

BLAZE HAKE

Blaze Hake is a junior at Central York High School and a member of the social media team for The Current. He plays on the school’s lacrosse team as well as Rock Lacrosse in Maryland. Blaze received an award for the second best goalie in the county and started varsity his Sophomore year. He plans to further his education in college, while majoring in exercise science. However, he doesn’t know what college he wants to attend. Aside from that, Blaze is a very creative, outgoing individual who doesn’t struggle to get his point across. Yet, he can express his words in text far more professionally than in person. Blaze enjoys using all types of social media every day.

Mary Bova is a sophomore at Central York High School. Mary is a co-director of the production team of The Current. She joined The Current because she likes to make videos and wanted to learn about public relations. Besides The Current Mary, is a member of CTV, and iTeam. Mary lives with her twin sister and her little sister. Besides school and work, Mary likes to listen to music, cook, and paint. After high school, Mary wants to go to college for Political Science. After getting her degree, Mary wants to work for the government.

Grace Montgomery is a junior at Central York High School and is part of the social team. Grace has been involved with CTV since freshman year, and has always had an interest in photography and filmmaking. Grace is also involved as an Operations captain of Mini-THON, a 2019 representative for student council, a member of both National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society, and is involved in the musical and performing arts programs. Grace’s love for people and music has always been evident, which is leading her to want to pursue a career in musical therapy. She’s hoping to expand her abilities for communication through The Current.

Delphie Backs is a junior at Central York High School and is a member of the communications team of The Current. She values creativity, organization, and visual art. Aside from The Current, Delphie is active in many clubs and organizations including Mini-THON, Aevidum, and Epilepsy Awareness Club. This year, she was inducted into National Honor Society, as well as the National Spanish and English Honor Societies. In her free time, Delphie works at Isaac’s, hangs out with friends, goes to hockey games, and watches Netflix. In the future, she plans to go to college and major in foreign relations.

TOMMY KNAPP

PRODUCTION TEAM

Tommy Knapp is a junior at Central York High School. He spends his time at school, working at Cheddars and playing ice hockey for the school and his club team. Tommy is a part of the production team of The Current. Tommy’s future plans include attending Temple University in Philadelphia, majoring in business and minoring in either marketing or communications. After graduating from college, Tommy plans on living in a big city and landing a business job. Tommy wants to start a family and live a great life spending time his wife and kids. After Tommy’s career is over he plans to retire and hopefully have enough wealth to share with others and make a positive impact on the world.

NEHA NOOR

Neha Noor is a freshman at Central York High School, and is a part of the production team of The Current. As an active member of The Silence Ends Here, Neha spends most her time spreading awareness and breaking the stigma around Mental Health. Neha is also an intern for the internet personality, Nabela Noor. She is a part of Mini-THON, and student council. Neha loves whipped cream and red gummy bears, and she can balance a Hershey Kiss on her nose for two whole minutes. Neha loves sarcasm and always appreciates a good Bollywood movie. Her favorite sundae topping is mini chocolate chips. With this in mind, Neha believes that it's the small things that make our life so much sweeter.
