The Current is a corps of 15 Central students committed to providing publicity and public relations to groups or entities associated with Central York High School. The purpose of The Current is to promote or celebrate upcoming activities or philanthropies that involve high school students or staff and are sanctioned by the school district. The Current has the discretion to choose an event or philanthropy to promote, based on time, purpose, and nature of the request.

 

      The Current will meet with the requesting party to discuss publicity needs and the timeframe. Please allow at least two weeks between initial contact and completion, depending on the scope of the publicity.
     

      The Current will not promote events that are not school appropriate or encourage dangerous, illegal, or immoral activities.
